Who Operates Blip

Blip is operated by SummitPeak Partners LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales.

Information We Process

Blip processes information that is needed to provide the app's core note-taking features:

• Photos or videos you select, capture, annotate, import, or save as visual notes.
• Text, drawings, tags, collection names, shared collection metadata, and other note content you create.
• Audio you record when using voice note or transcription features.
• A device identifier or anonymous user identifier used for app functionality, account state, storage security, and syncing your own content.

Blip may also store basic technical metadata needed to operate the service, such as note IDs, timestamps, file paths, and sharing status.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and improve Blip's app functionality, including:

• Creating, saving, syncing, searching, and displaying your notes and collections.
• Uploading and retrieving images and note content for your account.
• Processing one-time shared collection invites.
• Transcribing voice notes when you choose to use transcription.
• Maintaining app reliability, security rules, and abuse prevention.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Storage and Service Providers

Blip uses Firebase services, including anonymous authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions, to store and sync app data. Voice note transcription may be processed through an AI transcription provider when you request that feature.

Service providers process information only to help us operate Blip and provide the features you use.

Sharing

You can choose to share a collection by creating a one-time invite link. Recipients who use the link may access the shared collection according to the sharing state you control. You can stop sharing a collection, and recipients can remove their own membership.

We do not sell personal information.

Retention and Deletion

We keep app data while it is needed to provide Blip or until it is deleted. Deleting notes or collections removes the related app records and associated media according to the app's storage behavior. One-time invite links expire automatically.

Your Choices

• You control camera, microphone, and photo library permissions through iOS Settings.
• You choose what content to capture, import, annotate, save, or share.
• You can delete notes and collections in the app.
• You can contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your use of Blip.

Children

Blip is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Blip, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above.
